As a key member of the Field Services team in Brisbane, you will be leading a small team providing onsite IT support to one of our key Managed Services clients. This is a 5 days a week onsite role located in Toowong.
You will have technical ownership of your client, overseeing the service to users, and be an escalation point for your team. You will be responsible for proactively managing the client's IT environment and providing ongoing BAU support. People skills are highly desirable as you'll be overseeing a small team of IT support engineers.
Your key responsibilities: Provide up to L3 support for service delivery teams and resolve technical issuesOversee projects/implementations for the clientEnsure service quality through technical competence and attention to detailMaintain effective communications with your clientsWork with Senior Consultants and Account Management staff to ensure effective management of the client baseIdentify opportunities to productise new services and offeringsUtilize your technical specialist skills to help build new productsDevelop new strategies to increase efficiency in the systemsPerform system analysis and recommend improvements Key competencies and qualifications required: Minimum of 5 years IT experienceA Blue Card (Queensland Working with Children's Check) or the ability to obtain oneAdvanced experience in Wintel environments including Windows Server and DesktopAbility to administer an active directory environmentA good level of understanding of virtualised/Cloud environments such as VMWare/Hyper-V and Microsoft AzureBreak Fix Analysis and root cause analysisAbility to travel to client site dailyPeople Leadership SkillsProven ability to work within and across teamsLiaise with 3rd Party VendorsAbility to act as a point of escalation for complex issues and major escalationsNote: As part of our hiring process, you will be required to undertake a Technical test and a National Criminal History Check.
