About your new role
Reporting to the Group CIO based in Europe, the IT Manager for APAC will oversee a lean and dispersed team of 4 IT professionals both in Australia and abroad. This role will oversee the IT environment for the business that incorporates infrastructure, applications, and security.
This is a huge opportunity for a business-savvy IT Manager to earn a seat with the executive team and have a tangible impact on the direction of the business.
Key Responsibilities

Have financial ownership of the IT budget.
Design and execute the APAC IT strategy ensuring alignment with the global roadmap.
Review the IT environment and look for opportunities to enhance or modernise IT platforms.
Ensure that the tech stack is fit for purpose and scalable.
Oversee the delivery of IT Projects ensuring they are on time, within budget and fit for purpose.
Act as the subject expert for IT within the business and business partner with key operational stakeholders.
Oversee the relationships with third party vendors including selection.

About You
You are an experienced IT Manager ideally coming out of a medium-sized business or the Australian subsidiary of a global company. You are hands-on in your role and have broad skills and experience across infrastructure, support, and applications. You'll ideally come from a Microsoft environment and have knowledge of Azure, Windows servers, O365 & D365.
You have a defined leadership style that is effective for both onsite and remote team members. You will come from a business with a supply chain function, such as manufacturing, import/distribution, engineering, retail or similar.
Interpersonally, you are an enthusiastic and self-motivated professional, you thrive in environments where you have ownership and a genuine impact on the direction of your business. You have excellent communication skills and can present technical IT concepts to non-technical people.
