What we are looking for: As we advance with the development of our new multi-million-dollar Community Hub, the Council is looking for a Project Manager to oversee the delivery of our infrastructure projects for both the Hub and existing projects.
The ideal candidate will have experience with a range of large scale complex infrastructure projects and technologies including servers, systems, and networks.
Strong communication skills, procurement and contract management, are essential for effectively collaborating with key business areas and vendors.
What your day will look like: Create and maintain project plans inclusive of communication plan, responsibility plan, schedule, and budget.
Lead business and functional requirements definition and prioritisation of requirements.
Identify, document, and resolve critical issues impacting project success.
Prepare reports regarding the status of projects and/or specific issues/concerns as required.
Lead internal project team meetings and meetings with internal and external stakeholders.

What you'll need for success: Strong experience in project management, including business process improvement, problem analysis and resolution, change management, and vendor/supplier management.
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with experience in project report writing and issues analysis.
Knowledge of Corporate Systems and IT Infrastructure.
Ability to work effectively as a team leader, part of a team, and commitment to ongoing learning and personal development including knowledge sharing.
Commitment to applying the principles and practices of excellent customer service to internal/external clients.
Tertiary qualification (AQF 7 or above) in an IT, Business or other information resource management discipline and/or equivalent experience.
Qualifications in Project Management discipline or relevant industry experience.
Current Class C Driver's Licence What's nice to have: Previous similar technical project leadership role.
Working knowledge of Local Government.
