Our Client, a large Federal Government Agency, is seeking to engage an IT Enterprise Architect who will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-wide technology solutions that align with the Agency's business objectives.
The role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, and business processes.
The role will report to the Chief Information Officer.
Responsibilities:Develop and maintain the Agency's architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with the organisation's business goals and objectives;Design and oversee the integration of new technologies into existing systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness;Establish and enforce architectural standards, policies, and best practices across the organisation;Communicate the technology strategy and architecture roadmap with key senior stakeholders;Lead the design of IT solutions, including hardware, software, and network configurations, ensuring scalability and sustainability;Provide architectural oversight and guidance for major IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget;Identify and mitigate architectural risks and issues, ensuring the stability and security of IT systems.Skills / Experience:A minimum of 5-7 years as an Enterprise Architect;Deep knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure;Well versed on the Australian Government Architecture and other Whole of Government technology strategies;Extensive experience with AWS and related technologies;Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and a proven track record in enterprise architecture.How to apply:To be considered for this role (JOB ID: CW9668), please forward your resume to Coral by clicking the Apply for this Job button.
