Join us and be part of a team redefining mining success.About the role:Reporting directly to Management, this hands-on role will involve providing expert technical support across a wide range of systems, networks, and RF-related challenges.
You will be tasked with troubleshooting and resolving issues, managing projects, and ensuring optimal performance of critical systems.
The position requires a proactive, solution-oriented approach, with a focus on practical problem-solving and maintaining the operational integrity of key technologies.Your duties will include but are not limited to:Oversee the maintenance and operation of communication systems on-site, including two-way radio networks, fibre optic systems, IP networking, and modular mining technologies.Proactively monitor and manage critical production systems to ensure continuous availability and system integrity.Support and maintain on-site two-way radio systems and RF-based entertainment systems.Contribute to the development and upkeep of a well-documented infrastructure, ensuring adherence to best practices and optimal system performance.Collaborate effectively with the team, exercising independence and sound judgment to solve complex issues.Lead the deployment of new technologies, providing technical expertise to management and stakeholders.Work with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery in line with business needs.Configure, deploy, and manage a variety of devices and technologies, including VoIP, CCTV, Wi-Fi, operational technology (OT), and RF systems.Qualifications & experience:Experience in similar roles and/or Tertiary qualifications.Proficiency with Microsoft 365 cloud technologies.Proven hands-on experience in communications, IT administration, or related roles (preferred).Expertise in communications and RF technologies in a technical setting (preferred).Solid knowledge of networking principles, firewalls, and devices.Experience with CCTV systems and OT technologies.Familiarity with SCADA networks (nice to have).Strong time management skills and the ability to perform under pressure.Proven ability to make sound, timely decisions that align with business objectives.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels.Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and analytical skills.Benefits of joining Aurenne Group:Access to free employee assistance program.Access to salary packaging options.Access to benefits through SWAG.Short-Term and Long-Term Incentives.Short commute to site.Brand new camp facilities.In-house catering staff.If this sounds like you or someone you know, we encourage you to apply at the link above.We believe in an equal opportunity workforce and encourage women and First Nations people to apply.
