About the Role: We are looking for someone who has recently set out on their career journey and is looking to join a high performing commercial team, based at our Melbourne's CBD head office, on a full time and permanent basis.
Working within the broader team, consisting of IT Commercial, Compliance and Procurement Specialists, and IT Supplier managers, this role will work with internal and external stakeholders, to ensure we get the best commercial outcomes for the business across our software and hardware assets.
The ideal person for this role would be someone with a learning mindset, and who is keen to grow in a career as a commercial specialist in IT. They will have strong written and verbal communication skills and a high attention to detail. In addition, this person will have strong time management skills, with a proven ability to meeting deadlines.
What you'll deliver: Assist in identifying and realising opportunities to reduce and control costs across our software & hardware assets.Assist and support customers with their software requirements and requests, providing guidance on software products and processes.Report on software usage, maintenance renewal and licences allocation of assets and seek opportunities to consolidate these.Develop and maintain effective working relationships with vendors, business areas, and stakeholders.To succeed in this role you'll have: Tertiary qualifications in IT/Computer Science/Finance or business-related disciple preferred.An interest in IT products and Services.Strong time management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines.Previous work experience in a commercial/finance/project support administration/coordination type role.Experience in establishing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Your career with us: We have a diversity of teams across our business, all contributing to great customer and community outcomes.
