As a major contributor to the Queensland Government's Future Energy and Jobs Plan, CS Energy is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Partner Corporate Solutions to join our Digital & Technology team.
This pivotal role will support and enable transformative changes across the Information Communications and Technology (ICT) and Corporate business units. The successful candidate will act as the key liaison between business units and the Digital & Technology team, ensuring that business needs are effectively translated into impactful IT solutions.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of CS Energy's journey in shaping the future of energy in Queensland.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Act as the primary point of contact between business units and the Digital & Technology team for discussing IT opportunities, solutions, priorities, concerns, and issues.
Collaborate closely with Corporate business units and internal/external stakeholders to deeply understand business operations and requirements.
Translate business requirements into effective IT solutions that drive value and support strategic objectives.
Explore and evaluate proposed business opportunities and projects, providing support in the development of business cases.
Manage and prioritise the delivery pipeline of work in collaboration with business representatives, vendors, and Digital & Technology team members.
Serve as the "voice of the customer," ensuring efficient delivery of solutions, transitions, and ongoing support.
Provide leadership and guidance in managing relationships with stakeholders and third parties to ensure continuous business value.
Support change management efforts to ensure smooth transitions and adoption of new technologies and processes.
Bring strong business partnership, project management, and IT expertise, with a preference for experience in the energy industry.

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:
Degree in Information Technology, Business or similar demonstrated experience.
Project Management certifications highly regarded.
Organisational change management qualifications highly regarded.
5+ years relevant experience in a customer focused industry.
Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills, including end users, C-suites and vendors.
Strong background in Vendor Management & SLA management.
Proven track record working in projects and contribute to planning, retrospectives and sprint showcases.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with business and technology professionals to produce innovative solutions in a complex business environment.
Excellent verbal/non-verbal skills with ability to facilitate meetings and workshops either in person or remotely via Microsoft Teams.
Demonstrated ability to manage timeframes and priorities effectively within a team.
Demonstrable experience in building a culture of continuous improvement.
Highly desirable:
Experience with Finance, HR, Payroll, Risk and Assurance solutions, transactional systems and/or complex integrations in a big data environment.
Understanding of the regulated and unregulated energy market within Australia.
Experience in design lead thinking and related innovation practices.
Experience in human centric practice.
