It Business Partner - Botany

This position reports directly to the IT Business Partner Manager, services and supports all end-users across the APAC region, and collaborates with the global IT team to improve processes and draft long-term strategies.

This position requires travel
As an IT Business Partner, you will:
Provide hands-on technical support to troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for local users, including onboarding, basic ticket resolution, and standardizing processes to ensure efficiency from the Service Desk team. Assist end-users with software installation, updates, and configurations. Maintain strong relationships with local IT vendors for the procurement of hardware, software licenses, and IT services. Evaluate vendor proposals, negotiate contracts. Be fully responsible for the region's IT stock, including replacing laptops, switches, Wi-Fi equipment, tablets, etc. Monitor and maintain IT network, workstations, and peripherals to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Implement and enforce group IT standards and best practices. Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with security and data protection policies. Collaborate with the global IT team to efficiently resolve escalated technical issues. To be successful in this role, you will have most of the following skills and experience:
Ability to travel to all Australian stations, Malaysia, Singapore, NZ and South Korea (10% ~ 20% of the time). Excellent communication skills, able to present reports to senior management as well as engage a diverse array of stakeholders at multiple seniority levels. Service Desk Experience. Experience with Office 365. Experience working with Microsoft Azure or Microsoft Server. Experience with IT project management. Knowledge of network security concepts. Knowledge of SAP. A positive attitude and proactive mindset, with the ability to work autonomously as well as being a good team player. About us:
