This role is pivotal in bridging technical data capabilities with business needs.
You will manage Azure-based data lakes/warehouses, create insightful dashboards using Power BI, and engage stakeholders to deliver impactful business solutions.Key Responsibilities of the position:Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.Maintain and optimize Azure-based data lakes and warehouses.Develop robust dashboards and reports using Power BI and Excel.Integrate data from APIs into existing systems for comprehensive analysis.Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reporting platforms.Provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.Train end-users on BI tools and reporting systems.Continuously improve data workflows and reporting processes.Analyse data such as budgets, sales results, and forecasts to generate insights and forecast outcomes.Quantify costs, risks, and benefits of solutions, outlining business impacts.Lead consultations with technical specialists (including vendors) and provide guidance to system developers and administrators.Perform other duties as required.Essential Skills and Experience:Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role (e.g., BI Analyst or Data Analyst).Proficiency with Azure Data Lake, Data Factory, or SQL Data Warehouse.Familiarity with Dynamics 365 Dataverse and its integration with Power BI for creating custom dashboards.Advanced skills in Power BI, Excel (including macros), and web APIs.Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and process improvement.Experience with Python or R for advanced analytics.Familiarity with DAX queries in Power BI.Knowledge of data governance best practices.Please Note: Permanent Residents and Citizens of Australia ONLY need apply.
