$115,042 to $129,573 p.a (HEW 8) Fixed Term, Full time, Joondalup Campus Open to candidates with relevant work rights DIGITAL AND CAMPUS SERVICES JOONDALUP CAMPUS $115,042 to $129,573 p.a (HEW 8) plus 17% University Superannuation 12-MONTHS FIXED TERM, FULL TIME Overview Digital and Campus Services provides a responsive, integrated and customer-orientated service that brings together the digital and physical environments for students and staff, supporting their teaching, learning, research, and administrative needs.The Digital Programs and Projects team is responsible for engaging with the University to understand present and future demands for IT that support the University's teaching, learning, research, and professional outcomes.As an advocate, advisor and escalation point the IT Business Engagement team maintains relationships across the University to identify common needs and opportunities and incorporate these into operational or project pipelines.The team also provides Business Analysis services to digital projects and programs in delivery.The Role You will play a key role on our Network Replacement Project working with business areas and stakeholders to elicit and refine business requirements and project deliverables.You may also be assigned to other pipeline digital initiatives.You will be responsible for all aspects of business analysis such as requirements definition, appropriate documentation, process analysis and mapping, workshop facilitation, communicating to all levels of the University and ensuring the solution is aligned to business outcomes.You will be a self-starter and have experience working on projects with technical and delivery teams.Required skills & experience Minimum 5 years' experience as a business analyst working on technology-based projects using appropriate methodologies, tools and techniques Strong stakeholder engagement skills at all levels and cross business units, to elicit, document and validate high-quality requirements and understand business needs Solid experience in requirements definition, user story development and documenting process diagrams using formal process notation Experience working with technical resources to clarify scope and requirements Strong interpersonal skills including comfort with leading outcome focussed workshops and presenting to all levels of the organisation  Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to synthesise complex topics in a succinct and clear manner to both technical and non-technical colleagues Familiarity with tools such as Confluence and JIRA   You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University's values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry Personal Excellence and Courage.Benefits & Remuneration This full time, fixed term position attracts remuneration of $115,042 to $129,573 p.a plus 17% University superannuation contribution.ECU supports a work/life balance for staff.Benefits such as flexible working arrangements may also be negotiated to meet your personal circumstances.ECU has an Award-winning Health and Wellness Program and an extensive range of staff benefits across entertainment, financial, health, travel and consumer goods and services.For information on the benefits of working at ECU, please visit our website Employment Opportunities Overview.Contact Interested applicants are welcome to call Jon Mortimer on 041 996 9922 for more information.How to Apply Please upload your resume along with a statement addressing the above Required Skills & Experience.Closing Date: Applications close on Friday 28th June 2024 at 11:30pm AWST.PLEASE NOTE: APPLICATIONS WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED FROM CANDIDATES WHO HAVE THE RELEVANT WORKING RIGHTS TO FILL THIS POSITION.ECU is a diverse and inclusive workplace reflecting the differences in society.Specific strategies and initiatives are in place to address underrepresentation of specific groups.Applications are encouraged from suitably qualified people from all backgrounds.Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are strongly encouraged to apply.#LI-DNP         Position Description Opens in new window
