Role Overview: As an IT Business Analyst, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including a talented Project Manager, vendors, and key business stakeholders. Help define, document, and optimize business processes.
Key Responsibilities: ERP Implementation Support: Assist in the planning, design, and execution of ERP implementation, ensuring successful integration across business functions. Process Definition & Improvement: Work with business users to gather requirements, define processes, and document workflows to enhance operational efficiency. IT Strategy: Collaborate with senior leadership to define IT strategy, identifying key opportunities for technology to improve business performance. Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as a bridge between technical teams, project managers, business users, and vendors to ensure project milestones are met and expectations are aligned. Requirements Gathering & Documentation: Elicit, document, and prioritise business requirements, functional specifications, and use cases. Vendor Management: Work with external vendors to evaluate solutions, manage relationships, and ensure timely delivery of services and products. Testing & Quality Assurance: Assist in the testing of IT solutions to ensure they meet business requirements, and address any issues during implementation. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to ongoing efforts to enhance processes, policies, and systems to align with business needs. Key Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst, ideally within ERP implementations and IT strategy planning. Strong understanding of business process modelling, requirements gathering, and process documentation. Experience liaising with project managers, vendors, and technical teams in a cross-functional environment. Knowledge of ERP systems is highly desirable. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
