Write the next chapter of your ABB story.This position reports toIS Service OwnerYour role and responsibilitiesAs an IS Lead Architect, you will be a member of a team developing software solutions supporting the operations and customers of ABB Electrification (EL). You will be working in a cross-functional team that operates in an international environment to solve problems for various stakeholders. You will take ownership of the overall architecture of the existing and new sales configurator platform(s) for EL Distribution Systems and Service divisions. You will actively participate in their design, build, and maintenance phases, ensuring they adhere to business requirements, ABB IS security/compliance policies, and standards. You will closely collaborate with business process owners, functional analysts, solutions architects, and other IS teams to ensure the target solution supports the division's business strategy. The work model for the role is hybrid. #LI-hybridMain Responsibilities:Design and maintain solution architecture at the platform level, ensuring integration integrity of different modules, subsystems, and integrations between global and local systems following the enterprise architecture guidelines.Document the as-is and to-be states for data objects and relationship models, integration APIs, and their utilization within modules and applications in relation to the business processes.Lead activities related to feasibility analysis, technical concept definition, and oversee and/or assist IS teams in platform development.Review, approve, and define the technical blueprints, reference architectures, and standards within the assigned domain.Lead technology decision-making processes within the assigned product portfolio, ensuring alignment with overarching business goals and technology standards.Engage with stakeholders across different domains to gather and validate requirements, ensuring the software ecosystem meets diverse needs.Build and maintain integration approaches between functional modules of the platform in close collaboration with Business Analysts (integration design, documentation, information/data flow).Qualifications for the role:A minimum of 8 years of experience implementing and working on large-scale enterprise-level applications and proven competence in leading its solution architecture.Excellent analytical skills and a deep understanding of the overall context of business processes and IS technologies.Superior experience in translating business requirements into IS capabilities and solutions.Hands-on experience with CPQ processes (especially the configuration) and sales configurations platforms (i.e. Conga/Apptus, Configit, Tacton).Strong technical skills and applied knowledge in the following areas preferred: .NET Core, ASP.NET, Web API, web technologies (React.JS, Node.js), Cloud Technologies (Azure), Integration (Mulesoft), SAP Integrations, microservices.Thorough knowledge of IT service management concepts (ITIL) and TOGAF certification is a plus.Significant experience establishing and maintaining collaborative partnerships with IT peers, functional business teams, and external partners.More about usWe value people from different backgrounds.
