Irrigation Manager

Responsibilities: Reporting to the Area Manager - Fitzroy Macadamia Operations, you will be responsible for: Providing irrigation expertise with the irrigation systems design and installation. Monitor water account balances and requirements from various users. Program, manage and control automation systems. Provide guidance to orchard managers on irrigation requirements. Be a role model by demonstrating precise and safe work behaviours and reinforcing policies and procedures. Coordinate delivery of water via suppliers and infrastructure to users as required. Maintain effective working relationships. Identify the training needs of workers. Requirements You will hold a C class drivers' license (essential). Experience in operation and management of pressurised irrigation systems. Experience with irrigation automation. Experience with tree crops. Project management experience. Strong verbal and writtenmunication skills. Excellent attention to detail. Strong organisation and time management skills.
