Irrigation Farm Hand

Are you a motivated individual with an interest in agriculture? Our team at Bundaberg are looking for an individual to join their team as a casual Irrigation Farm Hand. Providing irrigation and assisting in general farm hand daily activities. This role would suit someone who is looking for casual, physical work. Key Responsibilities: Reporting to the Irrigation Supervisor, you will be responsible for: Assisting with the delivering of water and fertigation requirements to all trees Assisting with maintaining irrigation infrastructure including irrigation lines and connectors, pumps, filtration systems, motors, automated and delivery systems Monitoring water usage via monitoring systems and visual observations Contributing to the development and improvement of irrigation systems Land development and preparation Farm maintenance Maintaining records Be responsible for the quality of completed work Following safety requirements and contributing to continuous improvement of safety elements Requirements No previous experience required You will hold a current driver's licence Ability to work independently and as directed without continuous supervision You will be flexible, reliable, and available to work hours which may vary to meet operational demands (with Saturday and Sunday work during busy periods) You will have a positive, can-do attitude and be motivated to complete work in scheduled timeframes Benefits Award hourly rates with paid overtime in accordance with the Horticulture Award Training and development opportunities How
