Our client, Chambers Engineering Services, is seeking skilled Metal Fabricators.
In this role, you will fabricate, assemble, and weld metal components to build and repair structures and products.
Your expertise in reading technical drawings and operating welding equipment will ensure the production of high-quality, durable metal parts.
Main Duties and Responsibilities: Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Cut, shape, and assemble metal components using various tools.
Measure and align materials accurately for proper fit Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques.
Inspect welds to meet quality and safety standards.
Repair and rework metal components as needed.
Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Adhere to company policies and industry regulations.
Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
Make adjustments to improve quality and performance.
Work closely with team members, including engineers and project managers.
Provide input on design improvements and troubleshooting.
Meet project deadlines and requirements.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including machine settings and maintenance.
Qualifications: Metal Fabrication Trade Qualification Relevant certifications and a White Card.
Experience: Proven experience in metal fabrication.
Familiarity with welding techniques and metalworking tools.
Skills and Competencies: Strong communication skills, with attention to detail.
Ability to apply practical knowledge in a commercial manner.
