Job Summary:Seeking an IRAP assessor to join our clients Security Engineering team.
You will bring your technical expertise, your excellent communication and troubleshooting skills along with a high attention to detail.
To conduct assessments for an upcoming project of works which has been won by our client.

A base salary of $180K + SuperConduct IRAP assessments for a key client/project.Work in a unique, challenging and rewarding environment.Work alongside some of the best in the space.Collaborative, team-based culture.What will you be doing?Perform assessments to assess the implementation, appropriateness and effectiveness of a systems security control method.Review control methods using the Australian Government's ISM, the PSPF and IRAP framework.Review system documentation, configurations, and implementations to ensure compliance with security standards.Develop or review essential security documents such as SSP, Risk Assessment Reports, and SAR to ensure compliance with frameworks and policies.Identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities.Perform risk assessments and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.Recommend specific security controls aligned with ISM standards and assist organisations in selecting appropriate security measures.Advise on the implementation of controls such as encryption, access management, and security monitoring.Work closely with technical teams to understand system architectures, security controls, and potential vulnerabilities.Analyse existing systems to identify gaps between current security practices and required compliance levels.Provide detailed reports to government agencies or clients, summarising findings and recommendations for achieving compliance.Liaise with organisations and stakeholders in preparing for the certification process by offering guidance on remediation and ensuring systems are ready for formal accreditation.Stay up to date with Australian Government security policies and frameworks to provide accurate compliance advice.Skills and experience required to succeed in this role?Australian citizen with NV1 Security ClearanceBe an ASD endorsed IRAP assessor.Hold proven IRAP assessment experience.Hold relevant certifications, CISSP, CISM, etc.High level analytical SkillsProblem-solving skills.High level of detail and attention to detail.Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.Work onsite in Canberra, ACT.Estimated start date: 04/11/24Employment Type: PermanentLocation of work: Canberra, ACTSecurity clearance: NV1, minimum #J-18808-Ljbffr
