We are currently seeking a Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Scouting Team Member and an IPM Grounds Team Member at our Warragul site for our IPM operations and drive our team towards excellence.
As an IPM Scouting Team Member, you will scout for pest and disease across our site and provide substantial data that will be further analysed.
What does the role look like: Check and confirm pest and disease levels in crops.Train new team members on identifying pests and beneficial insects.Recommend treatments for crops to manage pests effectively.Coordinate scouting efforts and share findings with other stakeholders.Create clear crop reports and maps for all growing areas.Verify scouting results when needed.Help introduce beneficial insects as needed.Identify plant diseases in preparation for crop removal.Monitor the effectiveness of pest sprays.Ensure all hygiene and quarantine protocols are followed.Work with the team to plan for the farming season.Assist with other tasks as needed.As an IPM Grounds Team Member, you will be owning end-to-end IPM operations for the site.
