About the Opportunity Council has an exciting opportunity for a Fuel Truck Operator to join the Plant and Depot team. The purpose of this position is to work as a member of a team to operate the fuel and stores truck and distribute/deliver stores as required across the LGA.. A MR truck licence is essential for this position. Work teams are led by a supportive and proactive leadership team. General Activities of this position Work as a member of a team to undertake fuel & stores deliveries and other duties to assist in relevant works. Undertake tasks and duties as directed consistent with skill, competency, and training. What Do You Need to Be Successful? Essential Construction Induction Certification (White Card). Class MR driver's licence Effective communication skills with the ability to understand and follow detailed written and verbal instructions. Demonstrated commitment to a team-based approach, reliability and punctuality, with a proven ability to work in a team environment. Displays a positive attitude. Desirable Working Near Overhead Powerlines Certification. Current Implement Traffic Control Plans and Traffic Controller Certification. Other details relating to this position are: Employment is under the Local Government (State) Award 2023. This position is graded 4 in Council's salary system.
