The Company Our client is an independent, Australian owned and operated, Freight Forwarding and Customs Brokerage company, founded 40 years ago.
With offices in major cities around Australia and the ability to import and export freight worldwide, this company is looking to add another talented recruit to its ranks.
The brand continues to be able to offer its customers the best in air, sea and land transportation services by fostering and forging relationships with the best carrier partners while constantly upholding their commitment to be able to cater for all of its customers freight needs.
The Position This company has a rare opportunity to joint their ranks as an Invoicing Operator working at the Port of Brisbane offices.
The Invoicing Operations is responsible for the smooth administration and customer service function for the client and the management of the end-to-end invoicing process.
You would also be: Monitor shipments and provide invoices as appropriate Manage any reversals and credits on client invoicing Establish client details in both shipping and finance software Manage job costing with agents, operators and commercial stakeholders Analyse billing quotes in line with client requirements The Package Alongside full product and job training given by both my client and their customer covering both the logistics and operational parts of the role, the package on offer for the successful candidate is $75,000 per year , plus superannuation.
The Candidate To be considered for this role it is essential that the candidate has experience in facilities management for commercial properties, good verbal and written communication is also required.
Other attributes that would be highly desired by my client are: Two (2) years exposure in a financial environment within logistics or freight forwarding An ability to work in a demanding environment, constantly being on the go Must be flexible, forward- thinking, motivated, and have the ability to act independently Proven working knowledge of commercial sustainability upgrades Any exposure to Cargowise, 1-Stop and ICS would be highly sought after If you have the above criteria apply below, or phone Ian on (07) 3172 2086 for more Information.
