Located at the well-connected 'Paris end' of Collins Street, this family-owned business is looking for an Investor Relationship Manager to join this growing team.The Opportunity:This full-time permanent opportunity plays a pivotal role in the business in expanding our client base and strengthening relationships with new and existing investors with the intention of growing the business and the funds under management. Primarily looking after our Retail Investors, you will be the first point of contact with both new and existing investors.We are looking for a diligent, detail-oriented, and motivated individual to step into this office-based role in Melbourne. Ideally, someone with an existing network of independently owned financial planners.Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Develop and maintain strong relationships with direct investors and financial planners to drive customer satisfaction and repeat businessGrow the company's relationship with investorsAttend occasional external investment/planner seminars and promotional eventsLiaise with marketing for direct communications, ensuring CRM information is accurate and maintained regularlyClient engagement and correspondence, incoming phone calls, and client queriesIdentify and generate new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and attending industry eventsMaintenance of client data records, systems, and ad-hoc administration as requiredLiaison with office service providers, including ITThis role involves a dynamic blend of client interaction and preparing investor reports. The successful candidate must manage their time effectively, maintain a high level of attention to detail, and be flexible in working with and improving our current procedures.The ideal candidate will possess and demonstrate skills in the following areas:Previous Investment or Financial Planning Administration experienceExisting relationships with direct investors and/or financial plannersClient services and communicationWillingness and enthusiasm to learnHigh attention to detailAbility to work quickly and efficientlyGenuine high level of initiativeTeam player with a friendly dispositionProfessional presentationThis is a full-time role and the hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
