You will be part of the Implementation team that supports the successful implementation of portfolio management decisions, including asset allocation and investment manager changes. The team also assists with other initiatives across the investment portfolio, working closely with several other teams including portfolio managers and asset owners, Capital Markets & Execution, Investment Legal, Investment Tax and Investment Risk & Compliance.
The main responsibilities of this NEW role include:
Assist with the implementation of portfolio management decisions and mandate changes,Assist in researching investment implementation initiatives,Liaise with the custodian, fund managers and internal asset owners on implementation events,Participation in Investments team projects and stakeholder management,Participation in private market deal working groups. The successful candidate is expected to have a solid background in superannuation, investment/transition management or a custodian environment.
You have a deep understanding of trading mechanisms and investment markets, including experience in supporting and closing private and/or public markets deals. You have sound investment, financial market and product knowledge, including an understanding of the end-to-end trade lifecycle of various investment instruments including equities and derivatives.
You need to have the capability to manage an unpredictable workflow and tight timelines, with high attention to detail and the ability to manage competing stakeholder priorities.
