The successful applicant will work closely with key executives of US companies that already have, or are planning to, make significant investments into Victoria. The successful applicant will work collaboratively across offices in the Americas, with Head Office in Melbourne and across Victorian Government Departments, to deliver economic outcomes for the State.While the Investment Director works across a wide range of sectors, a strong understanding of the technology sector will be required.Successful CandidateThe successful candidate will possess:Extensive experience working as part of a team to facilitate investment attraction, particularly in the technology sector.Proven knowledge of the key drivers impacting investment attraction, as well as Victoria's international competitive advantages.Strong experience in investment promotion, strategy, and planning, business development, and a proven ability to deliver government programs.The successful candidate for this locally engaged position will be responsible for all arrangements and costs in relation to relocation (if applicable), visa, accommodation and day-to-day living expenses.BenefitsWe offer a competitive package of benefits.
