If you're looking to relocate to Brisbane, we are happy to discuss what relocation support you need to ensure your move is seamless.Key Responsibilities:Lead direct deal sourcing, due diligence, execution, and post-investment management for early to growth-stage Queensland businesses.Analyse and monitor portfolio companies, working closely with board members to provide actionable insights.Conduct in-depth market research and industry analysis to inform investment strategies.Assist in the preparation of presentations, pitches, and client materials.Engage in market mapping, due diligence, and investment execution across Australian venture funds and co-investments.Collaborate with our global team to capture global portfolio insights, thematic research, and identify opportunities to drive investment returns.About You:A business, finance, economics, or commerce degree.Minimum 5 years of experience in venture capital investment, particularly in direct early-stage or late-stage venture capital.Experience working in or founding a venture-backed startup viewed favourably and/or supporting early-stage businesses through advice, board roles, or other engagement.Expertise in preparing high-quality PowerPoint presentations for research findings, client pitches, or industry data.Strong leadership and mentorship abilities, guiding team members to success.Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to self-review and ensure accuracy.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.A self-starter who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.Please note, due to the timing of the year, we will commence interviews in late January 2025.We are a sovereign investor and an international institutional manager driving resilient investment outcomes for our clients and creating shared value.
