The successful candidate is most likely to come from a BB, Mid-Market Brokers, Boutique IB house, Big 4 M&A/Transaction Services.My client is looking for a technical skill set based around Financial Modelling and Competitor Analysis supporting the Lead Originator at one of the most successful global IB's in Australia.Key Responsibilities:Identifying and exploring equity raising options for clients (company founders, private equity, and venture capital investors) - IPOs and Secondary PlacementsFinancial Modelling of companies (DCF / 3 Way) / Due Diligence and Competitor analysis for M&A targetsStructuring and executing transactions tailored to the risk preference of the clientsAssist with the preparation of detailed equity capital market data analytics for the purpose of producing Pitchbooks and Fact SheetsInvolvement in client pitch preparation, and idea generation for the firmBuilding and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients throughout the transaction processRequired Experience and Skills:5+ years experience in Capital Markets - ECM, IB, Structured Finance, Equity Research (looking to transition) Big 4 Modelling and Valuations / M&A AdvisoryAdvanced Excel and Data Analysis / Financial Modelling (DCF / 3 Way)High level of commercial acumenEffective written and verbal communication skillsExcellent network-building and client management abilityFor a confidential discussion please contact James Fulton on 0420562*** or email ******
