Investment Banking Analyst & Associate Opportunities

JS Careers is pleased to be working with a number of market leading investment banks in Sydney, who are looking for high quality Analysts and Associates to join their teams in early 2025.
These opportunities span industrials, infrastructure, natural resources, TMT, FIG, ECM and generalist coverage teams with global and domestic firms.
For these roles, we require candidates with 2+ years of corporate finance experience gained at either an investment bank, boutique corporate advisory firm, internal M&A / strategy position or a relevant corporate finance team within an accounting practice.
Role responsibilities:

Execution of M&A transactions, IPOs and strategic review mandates
Client communication and management
Oversight of junior team members and multiple workstreams
Communication with other advisors (legal, accounting)
Due diligence and transaction management
Drafting and deal documentation (e.g.
IMs, Board Papers, SPAs etc)
Financial analysis, valuation and modelling

Candidates must also possess the following:

2+ years of investment banking or other relevant corporate finance experience
Advanced financial modelling capability
Experience on live M&A/ECM transactions
Tertiary degree in a relevant discipline (Commerce, Economics, Finance, Actuarial Studies, Engineering, and/or Law) with a Distinction WAM/GPA.
