Investment Associate - Private Credit

This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for the evaluation, negotiation and underwriting of credit opportunities, as well as managing a portfolio of customers. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills and a collaborative mindset.
What you'll do : Proactively grow a network of advisors and deal referrers that expand the firm's origination platform.Assess the feasibility and suitability of potential lending transactions based on investment criteria, risk appetite, and return objectives.Prepare and present initial credit analysis and recommendations to senior team members.Independently lead investment processes including structuring and negotiating deals.Manage an existing portfolio of loans tracking loan performance.Support in the design and production of marketing, investor materials and investor activity.Identify and suggest potential improvements to internal processes and compliance.Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities within the Australian private debt sector.What you bring : Bachelor's degree or higher (preferably in finance or accountancy)Minimum 5 years' experience in a credit fund, corporate advisory, corporate restructuring or loan workout experience.High level of attention to detail with excellent written and spoken communication skillsAbility to think strategicallyStrong report writing skills; able to identify key message / credit risks clearly.Keenness to learn and pursue self-development initiativesWhat sets this company apart : Our client is a renowned player in the financial sector, known for their commitment to excellence and integrity.
