We strongly believe our in-house management strategy ultimately leads to greater retirement outcomes for our members through lower fees, sustainable investment options and top quartile investment performance.The opportunityThis role is accountable for providing insights on investment exposures and risks across the investment assets of UniSuper and managing the implementation of exposure management and related functions.As an Investment Analyst you will:Undertake analysis and reporting on asset allocation and exposures to support investment decision making.Deliver insights to the Investment Team on key drivers of investment performance and risk.Ensure that the Investment team efficiently manages data to facilitate accurate and timely reporting of performance and risk.Support Portfolio Analysis and Implementation (PAI) in the management of its functional activities with a focus on the development and implementation of performance analytics and reporting.Undertake performance monitoring and reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of custodial performance reporting.Review, analyse and produce performance and analytical reports using FactSet, Bloomberg, and other internal systems.Apply strong analytical skills to calculate and interpret performance attribution across multiple asset classes.Provide support in the maintenance and improvement of internal data and reporting systems.About youAs an experienced Investment Analyst, you'll have the opportunity to work with one of the best in-house investment teams in the industry.To be successful in this role you will have:Sound knowledge of investment markets and understanding of financial securities and instruments, including investment management principles.Experience within the superannuation and/or funds management industry, particularly in the areas of portfolio analysis and/or investments data management and attribution.Strong understanding of asset allocation and drivers of risk and return for investment options.Experience in working with financial markets and investments data (preferably FactSet, Bloomberg) and investments datasets (Custodians, Enterprise Data Management systems).Strong understanding of both ex-post and ex-ante risk statistics, including the ability to interpret and communicate multi-asset risk model outputs.Ability to influence and contribute to decision-making and strategy development by communicating concisely in a clear and effective way, both verbally and in writing across all levels of the organisation.Self-motivated individual with a demonstrable track record of taking ownership and showing initiative and desire to achieve continuous improvement with the ability to think outside the box to continually innovate.Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving and organisational capabilities.What Us OfferWe take a long-term outlook and will invest in our employees' development and training with a personal development plan and yearly funding to support your career goals, as well as these amazing benefits:Highly achievable performance incentive17% super as standard but with the ability to dial down to 11.5%Additional 3 days paid leave over the Christmas periodAdditional 3 days 'Community and Culture' leave allowing you to give back to your community and celebrate what is important to youWe're passionate about knowledge and sharing it amongst our members and our employees, so we believe 60% in office is the best way to collaborate and build relationships with your colleagues whilst offering flexibility.If you feel you have the experience and skills required for this role, please apply!Think Great.
