The Role We are currently in the growth phase of our company evolution, having recently completed the greenfield development of two world-class assets, with many more exciting projects in the pipeline.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Investment Analyst to join our Corporate Development team.
In this dynamic role, you will play a key part in supporting our continued growth through the assessment, analysis, and execution of strategic investment initiatives.
This includes M&A acquisitions, property acquisitions, capital management and strategic development projects—both greenfield and brownfield.
Reporting to the Director of Corporate Development , you will work alongside a talented team and your analysis will directly influence key decisions aimed at strengthening our position in the aged care sector and enhancing the care and services we offer to the community.
Key Responsibilities: Assess and analyse potential M&A investment opportunities.
Assist with investment feasibility, and day-to-day management of our development projects (greenfield and brownfield).
Provide strategic insights and financial analysis to support decision-making.
Assist with capital management initiatives to support investment decisions, including detailed financial modelling and supporting relationships with key financial stakeholders.
Analyse research on competitors and customer demographics to assess demand and supply factors impacting our operations and proposed investments.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful execution of investment initiatives.
Contribute to the development of long-term corporate strategy and planning.
About You: To succeed in this role, you will have: A strong background in investment analysis, corporate development, management consulting or a similar field.
Proven experience with financial modelling, due diligence, and M&A transactions.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex information clearly to various stakeholders.
A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
In addition, you will hold: 3-4 years' experience in a similar role or management consulting, transaction services, M&A advisory at a reputable company.
A tertiary qualification (Bachelor or higher) in commerce, accounting, finance or business management (or a related discipline).
A CA, CPA, CFA or FINSIA postgraduate diploma is preferred, however not required.
A National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months).
A "C" class or equivalent driver's licence.
Evidence of COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations (or be willing to obtain).
