Our client is seeking an analyst for their Private Credit division.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team, working on evaluating new transactions in the corporate lending and complex cashflow lending space.
The successful candidate will work closely with Portfolio Managers and the execution team, with exposure to clients as part of the due diligence process.
This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, based in a modern Sydney CBD office.
What you'll do:As an Analyst in our Private Credit division, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating new transactions within the corporate lending and structured finance space.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve analysing the financial health of corporations, assessing risk profiles, developing financial models, and focusing on creating and analysing asset-backed securities.
You will also be expected to perform detailed cash flow projections, conduct scenario analyses, and assess the impact of different financial structures.
Your collaborative mindset will be crucial as you liaise with various departments including trading, sales, and legal teams.
Analyse the financial health and performance of corporationsAssess risk profiles and develop financial models to support various transactionsFocus on creating and analysing asset-backed securities and other structured instrumentsPerform detailed cash flow projections, conduct scenario analyses, and assess the impact of different financial structures on the issuing entitiesRun due diligence for credit transactions and prepare credit papers for approval by ICCollaborate effectively with trading, sales, and legal teamsWhat you bring:The ideal candidate for this Investment Analyst role will bring a wealth of knowledge in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Mathematics.
You will have an understanding of corporate financial statements and key ratios along with familiarity with loan structures.
Your proficiency in analyzing large datasets coupled with your ability to perform cash flow modelling will be essential.
Experience with financial modelling and scenario analysis is required along with strong attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also necessary for report writing and presentations.
