As we launch our first fund and expand our team, we are looking for a passionate and driven Investment Analyst to join us in our mission to drive sustainable change.About the roleAs an Investment Analyst at Climate Tech Partners, you will play an important role in sourcing and evaluating investments in cutting-edge climate tech startups. You will work closely with our team to identify promising investment opportunities, conduct due diligence, and support portfolio companies and founders in achieving their growth objectives. In addition, you will help manage fund reporting and support other fund administration. You will also have the opportunity to attend and participate in ecosystem events and relevant conferences.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.Experience: 2+ years of experience, preferably in venture capital. Otherwise, experience in private equity, infrastructure, or a related field. Knowledge or experience in the climate tech and/or one of CTP's target sectors (Energy, Transport, and Industry) is desirable.Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong deal execution capabilities, with a detail-oriented and meticulous approach.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Willingness to dive into technical and complex solutions.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Airtable.Skills in automation and AI tools desirable.Personal Attributes:Strong interest in climate technology and sustainability.Can-do attitude - Proactive and resourceful with a problem-solving mindset.Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.Commercial acumen.Curious mindset combined with critical thinking.Motivated and willing to go the extra mile.What you'll be responsible forIC Preparation: Synthesize due diligence information into investment memos and respond to IC questions.Portfolio Management: Assist in the management and support of portfolio companies, including founder and corporate partner engagement, performance monitoring, strategic planning, and operational improvements.Due Diligence: Conduct comprehensive due diligence on prospective investments, including external interviews, financial analysis, market research, competitive analysis, and technology assessments.Applying with HatchClimate Tech Partners is using Hatch to accept applications for this role.
