We are seeking an experienced Investment Analyst to join our Corporate Development team. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Development, you will assess, analyse and recommend major investment and funding initiatives undertaken by Hall & Prior to make a real difference in the community.
About the roleYou will be responsible for constructing working financial statements and projections to bolster investment initiatives, including acquisitions, divestitures, operational improvement programs, infrastructure development, and capital raising or refinancing activities. Additionally, you will develop reports, agreements, and presentation materials such as discussion papers, tender submissions, corporate strategy documents, transaction term sheets, and memoranda of understanding. A critical aspect of this role involves analysing research on competitors and customer demographics to assess demand and supply factors impacting our operations and proposed investments. Building and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders will be essential, along with assisting in the administration and management of projects related to corporate development initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed?You will possess high-level understanding and demonstrated application of business and asset valuation techniques, knowledge of accounting principles and ability to interpret and analyse financial statements, as well as a solid working understanding of budgeting, forecasting principles and financial management & reporting.
In addition, you will hold:
a tertiary qualification (Bachelor or higher) in commerce, accounting, finance or business management (or a related discipline);a CA, CPA, CFA or FINSIA post graduate diploma;a National Police Clearance (obtained within last six months);"C" class or equivalent driver's licence;evidence of COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations (or be willing to obtain); andfull working rights in Australia.What we have to offerOur people are integral to achieving our vision of being a leading aged care provider in Australia.
