Investment Analyst, Emerging Markets

About the role
We are seeking a high achiever with a passion for data and financial markets to work at a leading Australian based long/short global equity asset manager.
The desirable applicant will ideally have three to five years proven post graduate experience in funds management and a strong understanding and experience in emerging markets.
The role will be Sydney based.
Areas of expertise include:
Fluent in Portuguese a necessity, with at least conversational Spanish viewed favourably. Three to five years proven post graduate experience in long and short funds covering Latin American equities is a must and having previous experience in fund management in an emerging market country will be viewed favourably. Strong academic credentials in either specialist or generalist areas. Strong proficiency in Excel is a must and a basic knowledge of or a willingness to learn programming languages such as Python and R will be viewed favourably. Proficient in various financial management software, such as FactSet, IRESS, Bloomberg Terminal. About you:
