Investment Analyst/Associate – Infrastructure

To support their growing team and dynamic investment strategy they are seeking an Investment Analyst/Associate to join their Infrastructure team in Sydney.Reporting to the Investment Manager, you will work closely with the broader investment team. You will play a crucial role in supporting the origination, analysis, due diligence, and active management of both direct and fund-managed investments. This includes engaging with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure comprehensive evaluation and execution of investment opportunities and effective management of the portfolio.Key responsibilities of the role will include:Generating new investment ideas & deal flow through industry research & stakeholder engagementConducting & coordinating investment due diligence, maintaining financial models & preparing detailed investment recommendation reportsAssisting in the ongoing active management of the portfolio & individual investments to drive performance & ensure business plan delivery.Coordinating with internal support teams (legal, finance, ESG, etc.) & external advisers for due diligence & investment processesContributing to the team's culture by being a proactive & collaborative team playerAs the successful candidate, you will likely bring the following competencies and experience:2-3 years of experience in advisory, management consulting or investment rolesStrong knowledge of debt & equity capital markets with experience in infrastructure investmentsRelevant academic qualifications, ideally with some experience in direct investment transactionsAdvanced financial modelling & analytical skills with a strong commercial judgementExcellent written & verbal communication skills, including experience in report writing & presenting to varied audiencesInnovative problem-solving abilities with a focus on achieving business objectivesA strong work ethic, attention to detail & commitment to ethical behaviour & continuous improvementApplicants must have full working rights for Australia to be considered.For a confidential discussion please contact Rory Callow at 02 9235 9430 or ******
