Global Investment Services seek to provide unique and differentiated insights, expertise and investment opportunities for self-directed, high net worth, wholesale clients.
Reporting to the Head of South Region, as a Global Investment Services (GIS) Director you will join a high calibre expert team of Investment Specialists with a focus on supporting and advising HNW clients on their investment selection.
As a Director you will partner and collaborate with our private banking team, as well as stakeholders across other business units, driving a collaborative approach to acquire new clients across Westpac Group by presenting your technical expertise and generating a positive client experience.
Other day to day responsibilities will include:
Develop and execute client and prospect engagement plans to generate, close and replenish client opportunity pipelines
Investment presentations to small and large groups of clients and stakeholdersDrive strategic and tactical initiatives to achieve year on year growthLead the engagement of clients at ongoing investment reviewsDrive banker capability uplift through education, learning and development activities. What do I need? Bachelor of Commerce, Finance, Business or a related disciplineStrong sales experience and track record of client engagement and management in financial markets/funds management/HNW segment.Investment expertise in asset classes across fixed income and/or Equities.Experience in the HNW client segment either within Private Banking or Private Wealth is desired.Strong presentation skillsKnowledge and demonstrated implementation of compliance and risk managementAdvanced skills in Microsoft Office suite; Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPointExceptional literacy, numeracy and attention to detail What is it like to work there?
