The RoleThe Investment Administrator ensures smooth operations and compliance in managing unlisted assets. The role involves coordinating with fund managers to handle transactions, maintain records and manage various aspects of fund administration.
Main Activities of This Position Manage account openings with fund managers and ensure regulatory documentation is completeProcess applications, redemptions, FATCA/CRS checks, and paymentsTrack paperwork, confirmations, and resolve AML/KYC requests to maintain complianceMonitor trade execution accuracy and manage trade fees trackingResolve trade errors promptly and communicate with custodians for issue resolutionReconcile cash positions, income distributions, and capital callsMaintain pricing registers and liaise with offshore teams for updatesManage advisor-managed assets following client instructionsAddress client queries and issues through Jira/Zendesk.Essential Qualifications, Experience, and Competencies Degree in Finance or Business Administration (preferred)Ideally 1-2 years of experience in roles with WRAP platforms, custodians, fund managers, or advisory groupsExperience in investment administrationSolid understanding of AML/KYC for different entitiesStrong excel skills (lookups and formulas)Ability to manage in a high-volume, manual processing environmentKnowledge of unlisted assets and exposure to Foreign Account Tax Compliance and the Common Reporting Standard (CRS) would be favourableWhat We Provide for You to Thrive In and Out of Work A hybrid working environment with flexible hours and the opportunity to work from home and in our officeCompetitive financial rewards, including an incentive planComprehensive leave benefits, including paid parental leave and additional purchased leaveFinancial wellness support, including novated leasing and financial wellness coursesA diverse, inclusive, and supportive team environmentEnd-of-trip facilities at our 367 Collins Street officeOpportunities for professional development and career growthHow to ApplyPlease apply directly with your CV and cover letter.
