We are expanding our operations in Australia and are currently recruiting an investigator.
About Your New Role: As an investigator, you will conduct and manage end-to-end investigations into allegations of misconduct, performance issues, fraud, corruption, and other critical matters.
With a commitment to procedural fairness, confidentiality, and professionalism, you will ensure investigations align with internal policies and legal frameworks.
Your role will include gathering evidence, conducting interviews, and preparing detailed reports while contributing to a multidisciplinary team.
Additionally, you will provide strategic recommendations to senior management and play a key role in improving processes and achieving departmental objectives.
In your new role, you will: Conduct investigations into allegations such as misconduct, fraud, or deaths in custody, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and policies.Develop and implement investigation plans, collect evidence, and prepare detailed investigation reports.Conduct witness and relevant employee interviews and manage evidence handling with the utmost professionalism.Collaborate with the investigations team to execute strategies for complex and sensitive cases.Provide timely updates and recommendations to the relevant senior manager.Assist in preparing legal briefs, audits, and performance development plans.Contribute to continuous learning, adhering to the highest standards of ethics, integrity, and confidentiality.Showcase proficiency in handling records and managing documentation processes.About You: You are a detail-oriented professional with significant experience in conducting investigations and a strong understanding of compliance requirements.
Your ability to manage sensitive situations with discretion and fairness, combined with your excellent analytical and communication skills, makes you a valuable asset to the team.
To be successful, you will: Hold at least a Certificate IV in Government Investigations.Demonstrate experience in investigations within government, detention, corrections, or other complex operational settings.Gain and retain all police/security clearances required within our industry.Pass any required health assessments.Work within an immigration centre.Travel interstate and overseas as required to meet business needs.Provide proof of double vaccination against Covid-19 with a vaccine recognised in Australia.Undergo alcohol and drug testing as required by the business.Proudly promoting a culture of safety, respect, and dignity, Secure Journeys instills the BIONIC (Believe It Or Not I Care) philosophy in all our centres.
