Investigation Officer NSW Ageing & Disability Commission Parramatta location, hybrid working environment. Ongoing full-time opportunity A talent pool may be created for future ongoing and temporary opportunities. Salary $106,025 - $117,363 pa. plus, employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading. Our values: Service | Integrity | Accountability | Person-Centred | Respect | Collaboration Your Role This role sits within the ADC's Community Supports and Investigations Unit. In response to reports about alleged abuse, neglect or exploitation, this unit conducts inquiries and investigations and takes action to protect and promote the rights of adults with disability and older people. What you'll do Key responsibilities of the Investigation Officer include: Undertake the end-to-end investigation process, analysis and assessment of allegations of abuse, neglect and exploitation of adults with disability and older people, in their family, home and community, including complex matters. Work within legislative requirements and policies to determine and implement the appropriate course of action, including in investigations. Take timely and appropriate actions, including risk assessments, that are necessary to improve the safety and wellbeing of the adult with disability or older person. Undertake effective stakeholder liaison, community engagement and capacity building activities, to improve the prevention, identification and response to abuse, neglect and exploitation of adults with disability and older people. Ensure that investigations, assessments and other actions are completed efficiently, to a high standard, and in line with legislative and policy requirements. Collect, record and maintain accurate case information for assessment, investigation, information-sharing and reporting.
