As an Inventory Team Leader, your role is critical to the success of our business where you will be challenged daily to improve areas of safety, efficiency, inventory management, and customer experience.You will be part of a collaborative team working within an environment where you are given every opportunity to succeed and progress your career.Inventory Team LeaderThe role the Inventory Team Leader plays in our fulfilment centre is to document the receiving, movement, and accuracy of inventory.
This will include stock takes, cycle counts, and adhoc checks to ensure stock levels are accurate.This position will be rostered Monday to Friday.
Some weekend work will be required to support the operation in peak periods.What you'll be doing...Monitoring correct zoning of all SKU's within the warehouse, considering pick efficiency, safety, and replenishment rate.Overseeing kitting teams.Overseeing the ongoing training and coaching of staff.Assisting management by ensuring staff are following procedures.Assisting management by helping execute tasks they're assigned.Managing employees to ensure they're effective and promoting a positive culture.Assisting the business by always updating trackers, coaching documents, and reporting mechanisms.Leading by example when it comes to WHS standards, and raising issues with your immediate manager quickly and without delay.Ensuring pickface and storage tracking sheets are updated in preparation for each shift.Downloading missing reports and assisting with the overall reduction of missing value.Guiding and assisting with warehouse housekeeping duties.About you...Proven inventory experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment (B2C or eCommerce preferred).High level of accuracy and attention to detail.Ability to multi-task and work with competing priorities.Must be physically fit to perform all duties in the warehouse.Reliable and collaborative team member.Safety is a non-negotiable for you and you are able to adhere to Safe Operating Procedures.Positive attitude and willingness to learn.WMS experience.Ability to apply best practice solutions to inventory/stock issues.Intermediate Excel/Google Sheets skills.Forklift licence (high reach/counterbalance unit) desirable but not essential.Pet Circle Benefits...Above Award pay.Safety-first culture.Free parking onsite.Overtime and weekend work available.Staff discount on all of our pet products.Free weekly lunches.Work with an amazing group of Operations Supervisors and Managers.#J-18808-Ljbffr
