As an Inventory Staging Coordinator based in Clayton, Victoria , you will report to the Inventory Staging Leader.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management/ accuracy of raw materials inventory, staging of process orders and finished goods delivered into warehousing from the manufacturing process, and closing off completed process orders.
You will ensure a consistent flow of raw materials into the plant, maximizing the opportunities presented by lean manufacturing principles, using the MRP principles, cyclic inventory counting, and working within inventory policies.
Responsibilities Ensuring raw material inventory processes and consumption at the Clayton site across all production warehouses are efficient and effective.
Coordination of staging process for allocated plants.
Monitoring of consumption issues, including addressing advanced eWM level processing where required.
Ensure cycle count checks are completed within agreed timelines, and physical stock matches system stock data through paper-based or RF scanning.
Monitor and enforce procedures with the greater team and business to ensure inventory is correctly tracked, supplied, consumed, or corrected.
Monitor inbound receipting performance and support troubleshooting.
Work within SAP-driven cycle counting process ensuring the process follows PPG controllership requirements.
Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies identified through cycle count procedures.
Coordinate EWM master data changes and contribution to the NIRO process, ensuring correct master data is applied to all materials managed through SAP (both IM & EWM).
Apply a continuous learning mindset to SAP and business process management.
Contribute to SAP Super-user forums.
Qualifications Minimum two years of experience required in warehouse or supply chain.
Knowledge of MRP and inventory principles and detailed knowledge of resulting systems.
Understanding of Lean in an MRP environment.
3+ years' experience in a batch production environment is beneficial.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically in EXCEL and Outlook Strong understanding and user of SAP, particularly SAP – HANNA 4.
