Reporting directly to the Supply Chain & Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for the purchasing and managing the inventory of the raw materials required for the manufacture of gene therapy vectors for clinical use in humans.Key Responsibilities:With the support and guidance from the Supply Chain & Logistics Manager, the Inventory & Purchasing Controller will be responsible for the following duties:Inventory Management and MaintenanceDeveloping and implementing inventory control proceduresForecasting future inventory requirements based on trends and demandsPerform inventory reconciliation when discrepancies existDiscrepancy resolutionLiaise with all 3PL parties to ensure they are maintaining inventory accuracy at all timesEnsure regular cycle counts and stocktakes are being performedNon-inventory and inventory purchasesEvaluating vendors, negotiating contract terms and price with suppliersTracking orders to ensure they are delivered on time as well as reviewing the quality of the purchased productsPreparing reports on purchases and conducting cost analysisYou will be working in a start-up environment, flexibility when it comes to duties and responsibilities is needed.
