This role is responsible for the inventory efficiency and levels within Austdac and is crucial to support its manufacturing operations.
This full-time position offers an opportunity to contribute to the strategic objectives of a leading engineering company.The role:Manage a supplier portfolio and relationships, holding regular meetings with critical suppliers.Collaborate and agree with the Production Manager and Repairs Manager for their production and Repairs needs ensuring they have raw materials and parts just in time for manufacture.Review new supplier opportunities ensuring they meet with our engineering and quality requirements.Review our supplier base regularly to ensure best pricing and negotiate price reductions.Adhere to a Financial stock value holding, actioning slow moving stock to meet required value.Examine the levels of office supplies and goods for manufacture raw materials to determine shortages.Prepare detailed reports and share on stock analysis, including stock and projected shortages.Perform weekly analysis to predict potential inventory problems at 3 months out.Facilitate forums for all stakeholders to meet and share the stock forecast ahead outlining any issues or expected shortages.Proactively prepare the team and manage through the Inventory Stock with Head of Operations.Work with Engineering & other departments to proactively action Excess & Obsolete stock.What we're looking for:Bachelor Degree Business or relevant work experience.5 to 10 years experience in Operations, supply chain, procurement.Advanced SAP knowledge – implementation of SAP is desirable.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Problem-solving skills.Intermediate – Advanced Excel and Word.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionPurchasing and Supply Chain#J-18808-Ljbffr
