About the Role:

Warehousing, Inventory, and Logistics is integral to the success of Woodside.

The Inventory Principal is the regional inventory subject matter expert for WIL Australia.
The role is critical to realising our aspiration of a trusted partner with exceptional people and systems, which enable us to anticipate and excel at meeting business needs.
Duties & Responsibilities:

The Inventory Principal is primarily focused on the safe, reliable and efficient delivery of the inventory strategy, through: Defining and monitoring organisational inventory capability requirements across people, processes, systems, and tools.
Maintaining local and global processes that are pragmatic and compliant to internal and external requirements.
Performing governance of system and tools and implementing changes required to support efficient process delivery.
Performing 2nd line assurance of regional inventory processes.
Collaborating with stakeholders across organisational boundaries.
Managing regional strategic inventory risks.
Monitoring KPIs and reporting inventory performance to key internal and external stakeholders.
Leading and influencing others to deliver continuous improvement.
Surveillance and governance of materials master data.

Skills & Experience:

The skills and experience requirements for the role are flexible.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate some of the following: Skilled in managing end-to-end coordination of process, systems and controls to deliver materials.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management (or similar).
Skilled in Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) strategic inventory analysis, planning, and management (mining or oil and gas sector preferred).
S4H experience, preferably with Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).
Management of controls framework and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
Demonstrated capability to optimise inventory based on demand signals, historical usage, and consideration of Asset life cycle phase.
Skilled in digital systems and tools that complement the ERP to deliver strategic and tactical outcomes, and monitor performance against selected KPIs.
Knowledgeable with business processes, production and project value drivers, and finance processes.
A growth mindset, resilience, and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities.
An ability to identify and network collaboratively to achieve win/win outcomes, or reach compromises with internal stakeholders.
Identify and drive fit for purpose solutions across complex environments and teams.
Communicates effectively at all levels, verbal and written, particularly with senior leaders.
Leads with conviction, able to lead significant scope of work with high degree of autonomy.
