WHAT SOUTH32 OFFERS Competitive salaries including Short-Term Incentive Bonus Additional employer superannuation contributions which depend on the level of employee contributions you choose Participation in the Employee Share Plan Flexible working arrangements and industry leading parental leave and family care policy ABOUT THE ROLE This role is a Permanent position on a 9-day fortnight roster, DIDO Worsley Alumina Refinery, which is a short drive from Collie (15 minutes), Bunbury 35 minutes and other nearby scenic communities.
As the Inventory Planner, you will be responsible for supporting the maintenance and operational activities of the business by working as an interface between the warehouse and work management; ensuring that the right spares are available to end users at the right time, the right place and optimum cost.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:
Reviewing and executing inventory purchase requirements for the operation Monitoring for inventory shortage risks and triggering expediting requirements Building and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders Effective use of business systems and applying individual subject matter expertise to deliver positive business outcomes ABOUT YOU You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
High competency in SAP Materials Management Technical experience in warehousing, inventory management or related supply chain activities Working within a geographically dispersed operation, interacting with diverse stakeholders at various organisation levels Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills applied within heavy industry maintenance or mining industry roles Demonstrated track record in managing and delivering improvement projects Qualifications for this position are:
