As a planner in our busy team, you will be assigned a product portfolio to manage, ensuring adequate supply of product to service customer needs whilst minimising working inventory investment by assessing demand activity.
You will play a critical role in project managing products in your portfolio from launch approval to first release to customers.
Responsibilities: Ensure you are across all the supply requirements in your portfolio including: Maintaining a summary of each item's stock and supply position Maintain information accurately on our supply chain systems Flagging and solutionising any supply issues as early as possible Reviewing the supply plan for each product, placing purchasing orders, expediting or deferring orders as required Invoice processing Problem solving inbound stock issues Establish good relationships and encourage open communication with each of your suppliers to ensure best cost and service outcomes, and get ahead of any potential supply issues.
Related tasks include: Provide suppliers with a rolling purchase forecast Ensure suppliers are meeting the terms of their contracts, i.e.
lead times, minimum component holding Dual Source fully finished products from Approved Suppliers Negotiate improved cost of goods with suppliers About you Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role Intermediate to advanced Excel skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Strong time management and organisation skills Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
