Job Description The Project ACCIONA has been selected to deliver Western Harbour Tunnel – Stage 2, Sydney's third harbour crossing. The new Western Harbour Tunnel (WHT) will connect to WestConnex at the Rozelle Interchange, cross underneath Sydney Harbour between Birchgrove and Waverton, and connect with the Warringah Freeway near North Sydney.
Project scope includes:
Construction of approximately 4.8 kilometres of mainline tunnels with three lanes in each directionCivil, Mechanical and Electrical fitout of Stage 1 and Stage 2 tunnelsSurface level work, including on and off ramps and tie-in work to the Warringah FreewayTo support the Project through mobilisation and delivery, ACCIONA are now looking for an experienced Inventory Manager to develop and manage the Western Harbour Tunnel Projects inventory strategy.
Specific Tasks Include Partner with stakeholders to create an Inventory Management Implementation Plan (IMIP). Implement and configure the inventory management software with vendor support. Oversee data migration to the new software and manage user access and permissions. Develop and deliver user training materials and workshops for adoption. Troubleshoot and provide ongoing support for software issues. Manage inventory tracking, evaluate deliveries, and optimize operations schedules. Generate management reports on inventory, deliveries, and installations. Maintain knowledge of inventory best practices and lead the inventory team. Required Skills and Competencies Qualifications and Experience Prior Experience working in a similar position. Proven experience with project management methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and support users. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with inventory management software would be advantageous Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
