Blue Diamond is a leading industrial equipment supplier specializing in Generators and Air Compressors and other industrial equipment. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inventory Manager to facilitate the coordination of all inventory and storage space in the Blue Diamond Machinery national network. This role will be based out of our Perth-based operation in Kewdale and will be pivotal in the efficient and effective maintenance of all stock-related activities, stock accuracy, and merchandise integrity.
This role is well suited for a driven and independent individual who is analytically minded, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail.
Primary Duties will be: Establish and implement inventory management policies and procedures across all company locations.Proactively address inventory issues, offering timely resolutions to minimize disruptions to customer and employee satisfaction.Maintain a clean and well-organized work environment, conducting periodic audits of inventory.Continuously optimize inventory replenishment processes, utilizing technology and automation to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.Match and code supplier invoices to purchase orders and delivery dockets. Ensure costings are as quoted/agreed, process in a timely manner for accounts processing.Drive inventory reduction initiatives (where deemed necessary), including slow-moving and obsolete stock management, to maximize profitability and minimize waste.Train and mentor inventory management teams (i.e., Warehouse Storepersons) across different locations, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.The suitable applicant will have: Proven experience in inventory management, demand forecasting, or a similar analytical role.Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.Proactive and result-driven mindset.Strong communication skills with both internal and external parties.A positive can-do attitude and be a team player.Good time management and task prioritization skills.Capability to train and support team members.Hardworking and willingness to work additional hours to ensure jobs are completed on time.Strong focus on safety standards and work methods.How will you be rewarded?
