L3Harris Communication Systems Australia Inventory Management Pinkenba Job Description: As a member of the In Service Support (ISS) team, this role is responsible for providing logistics support to a multitude of L3 Harris projects, standing offers and services associated with the freight and distribution of L3 Harris communications equipment and ancillaries.
Required to perform physical and administrative tasks involved in the picking, shipping, receiving, storing and distribution of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
Responsible for efficient and effective communication to internal and external customers using mediums such as email, verbal, group discussion and 1-on-1.

Essential Functions: Assist with the Management of the Commonwealth InventoryControl of inventory/issues/receipts of LoansControl of inventory/issues/receipts of Return Stores Group (RSG)Inventory migration to MILIS and ORACLECCI / General Stocktaking & Assurance ChecksEquipment serviceability maintenanceMaintenance and management of MILIS accountsPacking and shipping of equipment for Domestic and International consignmentsWorking with Import and Export Compliance to ensure International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) are correctly adheredResponsible for the physical security of stock whilst conducting duties in their work areaEnsure Work Health and Safety complianceActive listening and ability to provide information within designated timeframesQualifications: Current Australian NV1 as a minimumCurrent forklift licenceMilitary Integrated Logistics Information System (MILIS) qualifications for warehousing, stocktaking and maintenanceRequires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.Preferred Additional Skills: Dangerous Goods qualifications (IATA/DGR)Recognised qualifications in Logistics/Inventory Management, People Leadership or equivalent (Cert III, IV or higher)Previous experience working in the Defence Industry is a preference, though operating within a complex, international, matrix structure business will be considered alongside this.Frontline management experienceProficient in MS Office suiteDue to the nature of our work many of our roles require an Australian Government Security Clearance, or the ability to obtain one.
