Job Description: Mars Wrigley is seeking an expert in technology and inventory management to join their Supply Chain team as the Inventory Coordinator.You will play a crucial role in ensuring constant inventory accuracy and integrity within the logistics team. As the Inventory Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining alignment between the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and Warehouse Management System (WMS), effectively managing stock discrepancies, overseeing aged stock for disposal, and coordinating any write-offs.
This is initially a 6-month contract until the end of July 2025 What are we looking for?Relevant qualification or experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration.SAP experience is essential, or similar ERP system knowledge.FMCG experience is preferred, but not essential.The ability to build strong working relationships with internal colleagues as well as external service providers.Strong data management, reporting, and analytical skills.Excellent computer skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.What will be your key responsibilities?Maintain high standards of inventory accuracy across ERP and WMS systems.Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies between recorded and physical stock levels on a daily basis.Organize and document stock write-offs, ensuring appropriate approvals and documentation.Plan and oversee comprehensive stock takes across multiple warehouses, ensuring process compliance and accuracy.Generate reports on inventory metrics, aged stock, discrepancies, and other relevant data to inform logistics and management teams.In-depth knowledge of Logistics SAP Operations and Physical Logistics.Work closely with the MW customer service team to ensure that orders are received, supplied in full, and if not, work with relevant MW Sales and Supply associates to deliver service levels above target.What can you expect from Mars?Genuine career progression with a focus on you and your career goals.
