Work with a leading FMCG business, overseeing critical inventory activities and driving operational improvements The Company Our client is a leader in their industry and, due to continued growth, is seeking an experienced Inventory Coordinator to join their team.
This key, business-critical role is based on-site in Melbourne and reports directly to the Warehouse Manager.
You will play a pivotal role in overseeing inventory-related activities, using your skills to identify trends, ensure accuracy, and collaborate with the wider team on continuous improvement (CI) activities.
This is a full-time, permanent position in a fast-paced environment, offering the opportunity to make a significant impact.
The Role Key responsibilities of this role will include, but are not limited to: Manage daily inventory tasks, including tracking stock levels, conducting cycle counts, and working with warehouse teams.
Address inventory issues, identify their root causes, and take corrective actions to maintain accurate stock records.
This includes collaborating with other teams to improve inventory flow and support demand planning.
Analyse inventory trends to improve forecasting and help optimise the supply chain.
Use inventory software (ERP, WMS) to track stock and prepare regular reports for key stakeholders.
Actively engage in CI activities to support cost-saving measures and improve overall processes.
Your Background Ideally, 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced FMCG environment or a similar role.
Experience using WMS and/or ERP software, as well as advanced Excel skills.
Highly organised with excellent time management abilities.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a solutions-focused mindset.
