The RoleThe purpose of this role is to ensure all stock control procedures are being adhered to with a view to maintaining high levels of stock integrity at the branch. This will involve the analysis of reports and investigating inventory related discrepancies.
Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure key inventory reports are produced daily and analysedRoutinely conduct cycle countsInvestigate all discrepancies and issues within pre-determined time framesPerform regular stock adjustmentsMaintain excellent standards of recording and filing all reports, stock adjustments, cycle count sheets, claims/resolutions, out of stock informationEnsure that stock receipting accuracy is maintainedProcess customer orders, enquiries and following up on any issuesKey Competencies, Skills and QualificationsMust have Stock Control experience (stocktake, cycle counts, supplier relationships)Must have valid High Risk Forklift LicenceStrong analytical skills and superior attention to detailGreat communication and interpersonal skillsSuperior time management skills with the ability to manage work schedules unsupervisedFlexible and reliable with the capacity to work under pressureIntermediate Microsoft Office skillsWhat PFD is Offering the Successful CandidateWe are offering competitive remuneration, superannuation and other staff benefits (such as discounts on staff purchases, discounted accommodation, health insurance and banking).
